Kouklia

 

 

 

Kouklia is a traditional Cypriot village situated 3km to the west of Aphrodite Hills. It plays host to a number of good restaurants, supermarkets, post office (when it’s open), bank taxi rank, museum and coffee shop. Turn right out of the resort; stay on the B6 under the motorway and its 2km up on the right hand side.

Efraim Tavern – Kouklia Village

Family run taverna that serves good local food in pleasant surroundings. Spacious interior and outside seating means larger families and groups can be catered for and you won’t be disappointed . TraditionalCypriot dancing on Thursdays. Open for lunch opposite the church in the village square with blue shutters.

 

Laledes – Kouklia Village

A small but atmospheric restaurant serving local dishes, meze and music on Tuesday nights. The walls are decorated with artefacts and artwork which make for interesting viewing while waiting for your main course. Booking recommended due to limited seating during peak times.

 

Gabriels – Kouklia Village

Situated in the centre of the village on the left past the church.

Family run taverna serving good honest food.

 

Diarizos Tavern – Kouklia Village

Tucked away behind the church this taverna serves good fresh fish caught by the family’s very own fisherman. The taverna has a lovely family feel, and daily specials are also available.
